Become a Peer Supporter

If you are a care provider with a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating and/or a PAMMS rating, you can play a vital role in supporting other services across Norfolk. Our Peer-to-Peer Support Programme connects experienced providers with those seeking practical guidance in areas such as quality improvement, compliance, leadership, workforce development and day-to-day service delivery. Please note, we’re currently closed to those looking for support, but are actively looking for peer supporters.

Among services completing the programme, 83% reported a positive or strong positive impact on service quality, and 67% saw an improved CQC or PAMMS rating where data is available.

As a Peer Supporter, you will:

  • Share your knowledge, experience and examples of good practice

  • Offer supportive, non-judgemental guidance to services seeking improvement

  • Contribute to shared learning and sector-wide intelligence

  • Help strengthen quality, confidence and safe, effective care across Norfolk

  • Build valuable networks and professional relationships

To recognise your time and contribution, peer supporters are paid for up to three days of support per match, enabling you to take part in a flexible and rewarding role alongside your usual responsibilities.
