Navigating CQC Inspections & Enforcement: What Providers Need To Know

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is continuing through a period of change, but its regulatory powers, and expectations of providers remain firmly in place.

In this dedicated webinar, Caroline Barker, Legal Director at HCR Law, will provide a practical legal update for adult social care providers, focusing on what the current CQC landscape means in practice and how providers can best protect themselves.

What the session will cover:

  • An update on the CQC’s change programme
  • Inspections and ratings and what to do if you receive a poor outcome
  • Enforcement: CQC’s powers to take civil and criminal proceedings are wide ranging and the CQC does not appear to be slowing down on this front. Understanding what action it can take and how you can respond is key.
  • This session is designed to help providers feel informed, prepared, and confident when engaging with the regulator, with clear explanations and practical guidance throughout.
