Residential Care Block Contract Opportunity – Market Engagement Session

Norfolk County Council is planning to launch a new Residential Care Block Contract procurement to strengthen residential care provision across the county. The opportunity is open to residential care providers rated Good or Outstanding (based on the latest CQC or PAMMS assessment) and will include provision for:

  • planned respite beds for older people
  • enhanced residential care for older people
  • residential and respite provision for adults with physical disabilities

This session will give an overview of the requirements.

Residential care providers are invited to take part in the upcoming online market engagement events, which will outline the proposed approach and support early preparation ahead of tender:

  • Thursday 26 February 2026 – Overview of requirements
  • Tuesday 12 March 2026 – Overview of tender documentation

The Council expects the tender to go live on 20 March 2026.
