Join the Conversation: The Real Care Deal (Norfolk’s Ethical Framework for Social Care)

An open invite to learn about and explore, shape, and strengthen the Real Care Deal approach to adult social care in Norfolk

NCC are inviting people across Norfolk, those who draw on care, carers, practitioners, leaders, and community partners, to come together Over a Brew and talk about The Real Care Deal.

The Real Care Deal is a growing movement focused on making adult social care more human, more relational, and more grounded in what really matters to people. You can take a look at the ideas behind it here: www.realcaredeal.com

Now we want to hear what you think.

What we’ll explore together:

  • What resonates with you about The Real Care Deal
  • What feels hopeful, challenging, or missing
  • How these ideas could support better experiences of care and support in Norfolk
  • What it would take to make this real in practice, for people, carers, and the workforce
  • How we can build on a shared vision that reflects the realities of our communities

This isn’t a presentation. It’s a conversation. A chance to listen, reflect, and shape something important together.

We hope you will leave with:

  • A clearer sense of what The Real Care Deal is
  • Space to reflect on your own experiences and assumptions
  • Ideas about how to reflect on lived experience in your day to day role
  • A chance to influence something that could shape the future of adult social care

Added value: Attending can also count towards your CPD (continued professional development) Social Work England.
