Norfolk Adult Social Care External Workforce Strategy – Sense-making Workshops

Norfolk County Council, working with Norfolk Care Association (NorCA), is developing the Norfolk Adult Social Care External Workforce Strategy and is inviting adult social care providers and partners to help shape its priorities and actions.

Following feedback gathered through earlier engagement, two interactive sense-making workshops will explore emerging workforce priorities and identify practical actions to strengthen Norfolk’s adult social care workforce over the next three years.

What will the workshops cover?

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss current workforce challenges and opportunities
  • Explore what is already working well across the sector
  • Identify practical actions to improve recruitment and retention
  • Consider workforce skills, development and future needs
  • Help ensure the strategy reflects the experiences and priorities of care providers

Attending the workshops

Participants are encouraged to attend both workshops, as the sessions are designed to build on one another. However, those who can only attend one session are still very welcome.

The second workshop will take place on Wednesday 4 November, 10:00am–1:00pm.
