Skills for Care Eastern Regional Conference

This Eastern region Skills for Care conference gives you the opportunity to hear about developments in adult social care from recognised sector experts and to network with colleagues and stakeholders from across the sector.

During the event, we will focus on a number of the Department of Health and Social Care workforce related priorities and we’ll share and discuss ideas on how social care provider organisations be supported in relation to recruitment, retention, training and transformation of service delivery.

What will be included

You’ll have the opportunity to listen to a range of keynote speakers from across the sector and attend workshops on a number of topics. You’ll hear best practice examples from across the region, have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals from across the sector and join us to celebrate the work that has been delivered over the last few years.

Neil Eastwood, a recognised expert and author on social care recruitment and retention and owner of Care Friends will be joining us, as will Mark Topps, an award-winning Care Mentor and social care leader.

We will also share an update on Skills for Care offer of support to the social care sector, including some important resources and you’ll have the opportunity to meet your local Skills for Care representatives
