Reimagining Social Work in the Age of AI | Digital Care Hub

Join the Digital Care Hub and Skills for Care for an insightful webinar exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping social work and adult social care.

Featuring Sarah Gilbert, Head of Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy and Natalie Day from Social Work England. They will be joined by Andrew Reece, Strategic Lead for BASW England, the webinar will highlight how AI fits within the Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy, including ambitions for digital transformation, workforce capability, and responsible innovation.

Talking about their flagship event, AI and the Future of Social Work Summit (May 2026, Birmingham), Skills for Care will be exploring national policy, sector expertise, and real-world insights, the session will examine AI’s impact on practice, workforce development, and the future of care delivery.

Katie Thorn from Digital Care Hub will also share updates from the recent AI Summit in Oxford – including news on the AI in Social Care Alliance. She will share key learnings and emerging themes including the importance of rooting everything in the person – ensuring it is grounded in lived experience and what ‘good care’ needs to look like.
