A quick note: matching for the Norfolk Social Care Provider Peer Network begins next week.
Our first round of peer matching will start after the 8th July. Register before then to ensure you can take part in the first round and don’t miss out.
If you haven't registered yet, it only takes a few minutes to sign-up.
Here’s what some of the care professionals already in the network said about why peer connection matters to them:
“Connection in care turns support into understanding — when we share, show up, and learn from each other, everyone feels less alone and more able to grow.”
— Jess Wilson, Registered Manager, Home Support Matters
“Peer connection matters to me because meaningful relationships provide support, belonging, perspective and opportunities for personal growth.”
— Sarah Lord, Company Director & Registered Manager, Extra Care Home Services
“No single provider has all the answers, so having a network where we can share knowledge and lead from each other is incredibly valuable.”
— Jason Powdrill, Manager, High Oaks Farm
“Everyone in care is there because they want to make the world a better place — meeting with peers gives the opportunity to share ideas, give each other support and work collaboratively.”
— Ciaran Maguire, Chief Executive, Mid Norfolk Mencap
How it works:
Once a month, you’re matched with a fellow care professional from across Norfolk and Waveney for a short conversation. No agenda, no paperwork. Just the kind of peer support that makes a real difference to the day-to-day of working in care.
Once you’re registered, your first match will arrive by email. We suggest replying to your match straight away with three dates and times that work for you. It’s the simplest way to make sure the conversation happens.
If you haven't registered yet, it only takes a few minutes to sign-up.
