Norfolk and Suffolk Care Support has published its Winter Readiness information for 2026/27, bringing together useful guidance and resources to help adult social care providers prepare for the winter months.

The Prevention and Winter Preparedness Care Providers Bulletin includes key information on winter vaccinations, infection prevention and control, outbreak reporting and Capacity Tracker requirements.

This year’s guidance includes information on flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccination eligibility, alongside practical advice for care homes, home care services and other adult social care settings.

Providers can also find guidance on reporting Acute Respiratory Infection outbreaks, including when an outbreak should be reported through the UKHSA online portal, as well as links to national infection prevention and control resources.

Care providers are encouraged to review the information with their teams and make sure they are prepared for the increased pressures that winter can bring.
